Ellowyn’s Cake Sale Success
At Philip Martin, we’ve always believed that community spirit and small acts of kindness can make a big difference. This month, that spirit came from one of our own – Sean’s daughter, Ellowyn.
A massive well done to Ellowyn Johnston and all her classmates at Tregony Community Primary School, who raised an incredible £400 at their cake sale in support of the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity and the Children’s Cancer Fund. With the generosity of parents, teachers, and the wider community, this fundraising effort was a huge success – and we couldn’t be prouder.
To celebrate their achievement, Philip Martin is delighted to match the amount raised, bringing the grand total to £800.
This cause is especially close to our hearts. As many of you know, Ellowyn’s friend Bonnie has been bravely battling cancer for the past two years. By supporting these charities, we can help make a real difference to children like Bonnie and their families.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and Ellowyn’s efforts are a reminder that even the smallest acts – a cake sale, a donation, or a show of support – can have a powerful impact.
Together, we can support these amazing charities and help bring hope where it’s needed most.
