Estate Agents

We sell a wide variety of property across all price bands throughout the mid and west Cornwall. All properties are made available through both our Truro and St. Mawes offices as well as on major property portals including Rightmove, Primelocation, Findaproperty and Radar Homes. We produce high quality brochures with floor plans and ordnance survey extracts as required as well as advertising in the local regional and national press. Our main aim is to provide our clients with a professional high quality service and always to obtain the very best price for their property.

Chartered Surveyors

Philip Martin and Steven Jenkin are both members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and as such can provide a wide range of advice and services such as professional valuations for probate, insurance, taxation, divorce and litigation, as well as general advice on planning, development potential and legal matters. We are not however building surveryors and are unable to carryout structural surveys etc.

Valuers

We are able to provide a wide range of formal professional or informal valuations for many purposes to suit clients needs. These maybe for accounting and taxation purposes, probate, divorce, insurance or transfer of ownership. In other circumstances clients may simply be assessing their current asset value to help with future decisions.

Auctioneers

In many instances auction is the preferred method of selling a property to ensure speed and demonstration of best price. We hold individual property auctions tailored for specific properties and have never yet failed to sell any property on the day of the auction. We work closely with our clients and their solicitors to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible and auctions are held in a range of venues usually in the locality of the property for sale.

Letting Agents

Since 2000 we have a designated residential letting department dealing with a wide variety of properties across Cornwall and acting for clients as far afield as Hong Kong and Australia. We currently look after around 300 properties although this number is always growing and there is a high demand across all price brackets for good quality dwellings.

Unlike many letting agents we are governed by the strict codes of practice laid down by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors of which we are members and this includes a requirement to "ring fence" clients money and tenancy deposits as well as hold high levels of professional indemnity insurance. We are regularly audited by the RICS and required to submit an annual return. With regard to tenants deposits we are registered with the Dispute Service Limited and in a time when there have been many highly publicised occurrences of letting agents going out of business and losing clients and tenants money we feel that the additional security that we can offer is invaluable.
